Power Up Action Park to host charity fundraiser day on March 21st, with all proceeds going to Big Brothers Big Sisters of Northeast Indiana.
Power Up Action Park and Big Brothers Big Sisters have just formed a brand-new partnership to benefit the youth in the community. The entertainment center is set to host an all-day charity fundraiser on Friday, March 21st. This upcoming Friday, from 9 a.m. to 10 p.m. at the Power Up Action Park, all revenue earned will be donated to the nonprofit to create and support one-to-one youth mentorships. BBBS staff will have a booth from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. at Power Up Action Park for those interested in learning more about their programs.
“Chuck McNulty, the owner of Power Up Action Park, just has an incredible philanthropic mindset, where he knows if he can help make the community better by helping out young people, he knows that it’s going to make a great impact in the future,” said Jake Slater, General Manager of Power Up Action Park.
In addition to donating 100% of revenue from the upcoming charity fundraiser, the business further commits to the mission of serving youth through offering free admission Mondays- Fridays to Bigs and Littles in BBBS programs. This generosity allows the volunteers and youth in BBBS programs to have a blast and connect without any financial strain.
“[McNulty] just wants to see Fort Wayne be an incredible place. He grew up here, and he knows if we take care of our own that it’s just going to flourish and be a better place for everybody to live,” Slater said.
Step in any time on March 21st to have loads of fun in this engaging indoor park which aims to better the community through active play and wholesome fun.
